About us
My passion for motorcycles began in the early 1970s. This led to an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer in 1980 and self-employment in 1984. I initially imported and processed motorcycles of various brands such as Moto Guzzi, Ducati, MV Agusta and Harley, but soon expanded my business to include the sale of spare parts and accessories and their manufacture.
In 1992 I expanded to larger premises and grew to six employees. In 1993 we achieved success in the BoT series and internationally. This was followed by investments in CNC machines and the expansion of the range to include mountain bike parts and steel braided brake lines. In 1995 we introduced the innovative 3G URTHO MK suspension forks.
In 1996 we achieved a World Cup victory with Markus Klausmann, followed by numerous titles.
But I returned to manufacturing and took over a turning shop.
In 2004 we launched our own license plate holders. In 2007 we moved to a larger building and expanded to France, while production remained in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Despite a setback in 2016, we expanded our collaboration with CCE and other dealers.
In 2016 we moved to EMD in Lozere and in 2017 W&W joined as a major customer.

After a tragic incident, I took on additional tasks for EMD.
However, we parted ways in 2020 and I developed many groundbreaking parts and tools
The Maxthrottle1 throttle grip and the Maxspyder, the absolutely cleverest screw lock for Harley pulleys and chainrings, followed one after the other in the same year.
In the years that followed, new innovative products were brought onto the market one after the other
Including the Maxthrottle2 throttle grip and many other parts, some of which dominate the market.
Despite health challenges caused by a stroke, my passion for motorcycles and manufacturing parts remains. I ride and test almost all parts myself to guarantee quality.
My mission is to continue to manufacture innovative parts with passion, even if "handmade" sometimes requires more time.
My parts are installed on almost many award-winning bikes worldwide and even Sturgis winners and Born Free participants have installed my parts.
Many award-winning bikes worldwide and custom bikes featured in all print media have my Maxthrottle throttle grips and many other parts from my range.
A fact that not every builder and manufacturer can claim about their parts, especially not a European one.
