Reinforced ball bearing for the clutch adjustment screw
The original ball bearing is much too weak and is just a standard ball bearing, rather than an angular contact ball bearing that can absorb the forces much better.
Do you ever get frustrated when adjusting the clutch because the clutch play wasn't right the first time? Yes, of course, because the old bearing has too much play.
That's why we only have this angular contact ball bearing as a replacement for the original undersized ball bearing.
For the following models
Sportster 1991-2020 all Big Twin EVO 1340 with 5-speed gearbox all TwinCam models from 2000 to 2017 all Milwaukee Eight models from 2017 - 2025
The advantages are clear:
No more problems adjusting the clutch No excessive bearing play, i.e. very precise pressure point possible Faster adjustment of the clutch possible and thus considerable time savings Much less wear than a conventional ball bearing Low-vibration concentricity High load capacity than a comparable ball bearing Buy quality instead of run-of-the-mill
We therefore always have this bearing in stock for our customers
So in short: The bearing should be replaced with such an angular contact ball bearing at the latest when the clutch lining is next changed.
Important: The reinforced angular contact ball bearing we offer fits 1:1 and is plug&play
