Original Rocker Lockers
The EVO1340, Sportster and Twin Cam engines make a lot of noise inside the rocker covers.
This is due to the way H-D designed the rocker arm shaft location.
The bolts that hold the rocker arm shafts in place do not hold them in place at all
when installed, it allows the rocker arm shaft to rotate forwards and backwards in the housing.
There it meets the transverse bolt that bolts the rocker arm bracket to the cylinder head.
Of course, this immense game creates a tremendous noise. It doesn't have to be.
That's why Rocker Lockers are here for you
this kit comes with 4 externally tapered precision bushings,
which fit around the fixing and locking of the rocker arm shafts during installation,
thereby preventing movement of the rocker arm shaft.
Thus, the annoying unnecessary ticking noise is gone in one fell swoop
The kit includes a washer and nut for installation and the necessary tools
to properly align the rocker arm shaft before fitting the bushing.
Workload about 2-3 hours, so suitable for Saturday in the garage.
No special tools are required.
Assembly instructions and video are available.
